At Teach East we believe in giving you the best chance to show who you are and why you are going to be a great teacher; we believe in identifying and supporting potential.

Once you've applied we will review your application and hopefully invite you to our Stage 1 Discussion; an online meeting where we ask you to talk us through a pre-recorded example of your teaching, your thoughts on a 'think piece' and get you to talk to us about managing your workload, expectations and wellbeing. We are really interested to know why you want to be a teacher and what is driving you!

If this discussion goes well, and we think you've got what it takes at this stage we will invite you to face-to-face formal interview at our training base at Manor Drive Secondary Academy; you will meet some of the team, deliver a short presentation and answer some formal questions, as well as checking your existing English and Maths skills.

Throughout the process we look to support, advise and nurture you to give you the best possible chance to show us who you are and why you will be a great teacher!
